Emergency contact: 0208 943 2303
Remember – stay as calm as possible as your pet will pick up on your stress levels.
Our Out of Hours Veterinary Team
Outside of our usual opening hours, our very own dedicated critical care team, North Surrey Veterinary Emergencies is 4 miles away in East Molesey (on site with our Molesey Vets practice). Learn more about North Surrey Veterinary Emergencies here.
To get hold of our out-of-hours emergency team, call 0208 783 2850.
Alternatively, our normal office number will be automatically diverted to NSVE’s emergency team out of hours.
Useful tools
- Symptom checker: our symptom checker could help determine whether your pet’s condition should be treated as an emergency.
- Poison guide: if you suspect your pet has ingested a poisonous substance, keep the wrapper and try to establish how much of the substances was consumed. This information will help your pet’s emergency vet to promptly begin treatment.
However, if you are unsure then it is always safest to contact our practice for a vet’s opinion.
Emergency Home Visits
Due to the volume of patients and their intensive care needs, NSVE do not offer home visits. To get your pet to the clinic in East Molesey will provide them with the best possible chance at recovery.
If you cannot transport your pet yourself, we highly recommend asking a friend, neighbour, or using a pet taxi service.
If transport is impossible then, during opening hours only, we will endeavour to get a member of our usual Alpha Vets team to visit your pet at home. Please note, emergencies in clinic must take priority in these cases so it is always best to get your pet to us.
