Your pet’s medication is vital, so we make sure that we see and monitor them every three months. We do this to monitor whether the drug and dosage are still suitable for your pet’s condition. We can make any necessary changes and improve your pet’s quality of life by keeping a closer eye on them.

We hold extensive stocks of medication on-site at Alpha Vets and order daily to ensure we are constantly supplied. All our medications are accredited by the Veterinary Medicines Directorate (VMD) and we follow all VMD regulations on dispensing, traceability, and storage of medicines. All drugs that we supply are sourced directly from the manufacturing pharmaceutical company via our dedicated wholesaler. This means we are able to guarantee the provenance of all our medicines, specialist diets, and supplies.

Once your pet’s repeat prescription has been received by our team at Alpha Vets, we kindly ask that you give us 48 hours for it to be vet-checked and prepared for collection. We can process repeat prescriptions faster than this if your pet needs the medication more urgently.

We are willing to provide written prescriptions for your pet’s medications if you wish to purchase them from online pharmacies. We do charge for this service. It’s important to remember that we have no control over third-party suppliers and cannot take responsibility for any medications or other products they may supply to you.
