About Claygate Veterinary Centre

Claygate Veterinary Centre is proud to remain an independent practice and the top choice for pet owners looking for trusted vets in Claygate.

As a result of our commitment to continued learning, we offer access to expert care that goes beyond excellent customer service and pet treatment, to become part of your family’s life journey. At Claygate, our aim is to keep pets healthy and happy through routine check-ups, vaccinations, and treatments for common illnesses. Your pets will always be treated with dignity and compassion, and we deliver care that takes into account their needs and personalities. It’s this down-to-earth approach which sets us apart from other vets in and around Claygate.

At the heart of your community since 1968

We are a long-standing veterinary practice, well-known in and around Claygate since 1968 thanks to our talented founder, the late David Coffey. We believe that our transparent and frank approach combined with our cheerful and compassionate team, has helped us remain the number one choice for pet owners within our community.

Today, Claygate Vets offers a full-service, first and second opinion practice, treating dogs, cats, rabbits, small furries, birds, reptiles, and other exotic pets. Together with our colleagues at our sister practices in Teddington and Molesey, we have more than 250 years’ combined experience.

Working together to provide the best care

Claygate Vets is part of The Partridge Practices. We are a small group of independent veterinary practices, owned and run by Darren Partridge – Veterinary Surgeon. Together, we are committed to providing the very best service to pets and pet owners across South West London & Surrey. We’re not a corporate and never will be; the needs our patients will always come first.

Our sister practices are Alpha Vets and Molesey Vets and we share our own emergency and critical care facility – North Surrey Emergency Vets. We created and run NSVE ourselves so that your pets are never without expert veterinary care. Registering with any of our practices means joining The Partridge Family, where you and your pets will be truly valued.

Our Philosophy – Independence and Individuality in a Corporate World:

Being a Vet or a Vet Nurse is a deeply personal vocation: it demands energy, rare skills, commitment, endless compassion and shear hard work. I have always believed that Vets and Nurses should be independent professionals, intellectually and clinically free to do what they believe is the best for their patients and clients. That is why The Partridge Practices will always be independent, each practice reflecting the individuality of its staff and there to give you the very best, not subject to any corporate standardisation or cost-driven restrictions. We are The Partridge Practices – Independent, Personal and Always There For You. – Darren Partridge
