About Claygate Vets

Claygate Vets is proud to be an independent veterinary practice and the premier choice for pet owners looking for top quality vets in Claygate.

We’re a long-standing practice and have been serving the local community since 1968. Thanks to our talented founder, the late David Coffey, we’re well-known in and around the Claygate area.

Claygate Vets offers a full-service, first and second opinion practice, and our team has over 250 years’ combined experience treating dogs, cats, rabbits, small furries, birds, reptiles and other exotic pets.

Your pets are at the heart of everything we do

Since being founded by David in 1968, our transparent and frank approach, combined with our cheerful and compassionate team, has helped us remain the number one choice for pet owners within our community.

At Claygate Vets, your pet will be looked after with exceptional skill, empathy and care by our experienced team. You will also receive top quality service and value from people who really care about you and your pets. That’s because our owner is one of our Vets!

Being an independently-owned practice, at Claygate Vets you can really get to know us. To help you and your pet build strong bonds with our team and get the most out of your visits, we always do our very best to ensure you can see the same Vet or Vet Nurses every time you visit. Take a look at some more reasons why we think you and your pets will love Claygate Vets.

Working together to provide the best care

Alpha Vets is part of The Partridge Practices. We’re a small group of independent veterinary practices, owned and run by Veterinary Surgeon, Darren Partridge. Together, we are committed to providing the very best service to pets and pet owners across South West London & Surrey. We’re not a corporate and never will be; the needs our patients will always come first.

Our sister practices are Alpha Vets and Molesey Vets. We share our own emergency and critical care facility in Molesey – North Surrey Emergency Vets – which we created and run ourselves, so that your pets are never without first-class veterinary care. Registering with any of our practices means joining The Partridge Family, where you and your pets will be truly valued.

Our Philosophy – Independence and Individuality in a Corporate World

Being a Vet or a Vet Nurse is a deeply personal vocation: it demands energy, rare skills, commitment, endless compassion and shear hard work. I have always believed that Vets and Nurses should be independent professionals, intellectually and clinically free to do what they believe is the best for their patients and clients. That is why The Partridge Practices will always be independent, each practice reflecting the individuality of its staff and there to give you the very best, not subject to any corporate standardisation or cost-driven restrictions. We are The Partridge Practices – Independent, Personal and Always There For You. – Darren Partridge
