What to do in an emergency

1. Try to remain calm – your pet may react to your stress.
2. If a toxic food or substance has been ingested, note the time, how much, and keep the wrapper/container if possible.
3. Call our emergency team for advice.

Call and let our Receptionists know it’s an emergency and not a routine issue. We may need to admit your pet whilst we make a vet available.

Out-of-hours veterinary emergencies are handled by our own team of critical care vets and nurses at North Surrey Veterinary Emergencies, right next door to our Molesey Vets practice.

NSVE is not an outside service, it is run entirely by the Partridge Practices.

Home visits

For emergency pet care in Molesey during our regular opening hours, the optimal place to treat your pet is at our vet clinic. If you need transportation, consider asking a friend, neighbour, or using a pet taxi. If you can’t come to us, we’ll aim to send a vet when available.

Please note: NSVE does not offer home visits out of hours due to the volume of patients and their intensive care needs.

North Surrey Veterinary Emergencies (NSVE) was created by The Partridge Practices and is run entirely by us. We do not use an outside agency. NSVE serves as an extension of our highly skilled team, providing you with the assurance that your pet is being care for by people who can trust, day and night. NSVE has purpose-built operating theatres, hospitalisation facilities and an impressive Intensive Care Unit. Our recovery wards are fully monitored by our experienced critical care team, who work collaboratively with the rest of Molesey Vets’ team.
